PRP injections for face

A personalized treatment using platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood. PRP is injected into selected facial areas to support the skin’s repair response, with the goal of gradually improving texture and the appearance of fine lines.

Understanding your treatment

How it works.

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. A centrifuge separates your blood so the platelet-containing portion can be collected. Platelets release growth factors involved in tissue repair; facial PRP injections aim to support the skin’s own renewal processes.

Potential benefits include improvements in texture and fine lines. Results are variable and the evidence remains limited: in a small randomized trial, participants preferred PRP for texture and wrinkles, while clinician ratings did not show a significant difference from saline.

Your treatment plan

A series may be discussed, with reassessment before further treatment. Skin condition, goals, medical suitability and response determine the number and spacing of visits.

Our PRP preparation

Why we use Integrity PRP tubes.

Careful preparation matters. We use Integrity PRP tubes to collect and separate your blood for treatment.

Designed to retain platelets

Integrity reports approximately 85% platelet recovery for its 15 mL tube system. Recovery describes how many platelets are retained during preparation.

Concentrated plasma

The manufacturer lists a sixfold baseline platelet concentration and 6–8 mL of PRP per tube. Actual yield varies with your blood and the preparation process.

Purpose-built preparation

Integrity describes its tubes as pyrogen-free and triple-sterilized, with a single-spin system for separating the blood components.

These are manufacturer-reported specifications, not measured results for every patient or proof of better clinical outcomes than other PRP systems. Proper handling and an individualized treatment plan remain essential.

What to expect

After reviewing your skin and medical history, we draw a small blood sample, prepare the PRP using Integrity PRP tubes and a centrifuge, then inject selected facial areas. Comfort measures and aftercare are discussed before treatment. Temporary tenderness, redness, swelling and bruising can occur; infection and other injection complications are possible.

Treatment is subject to individual suitability. Your provider will review benefits, limitations, alternatives and aftercare. Results vary.

Before your visit

A little more
clarity.

Is this the same as PRP microneedling?

No. This treatment places PRP through targeted injections. Microneedling treats the skin with a needling device and is a separate service.

Does PRP add volume like a filler?

Liquid PRP does not provide the predictable contour or volume of a dermal filler. Initial swelling is temporary; treatment focuses on gradual skin-quality changes.

How many visits will I need?

A series may be recommended. The American Academy of Dermatology notes that people who respond often have three or more treatments, but the ideal number and spacing are not firmly established. Your provider adjusts your plan to your skin, goals and response.
