PRP injections for hair
Targeted scalp injections using platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood with Integrity PRP tubes. For suitable types of thinning, PRP may help reduce shedding and improve hair density over time. Biotin can be considered as an optional addition to your hair treatment plan.

How it works.
PRP is prepared from your blood and injected into areas of scalp thinning. Platelet-derived growth factors are thought to support follicle activity and the hair growth phase. Clinical studies have found improved hair density in some people with pattern hair loss.
The aim is to support existing follicles and reduce the appearance of thinning. PRP does not create new follicles or guarantee regrowth in every area, and a diagnosis helps determine whether it belongs in your plan.
Your treatment plan
A common starting schedule is one session monthly for three months, followed by maintenance every three to six months. Your provider adjusts this according to the cause of thinning and your response.
AAD: hair-loss treatment ↗Why we use Integrity PRP tubes.
Careful preparation matters. We use Integrity PRP tubes to collect and separate your blood for treatment.
Designed to retain platelets
Integrity reports approximately 85% platelet recovery for its 15 mL tube system. Recovery describes how many platelets are retained during preparation.
Concentrated plasma
The manufacturer lists a sixfold baseline platelet concentration and 6–8 mL of PRP per tube. Actual yield varies with your blood and the preparation process.
Purpose-built preparation
Integrity describes its tubes as pyrogen-free and triple-sterilized, with a single-spin system for separating the blood components.
These are manufacturer-reported specifications, not measured results for every patient or proof of better clinical outcomes than other PRP systems. Proper handling and an individualized treatment plan remain essential.
Integrity PRP tube information ↗PRP with biotin.
Biotin, also called vitamin B7, helps the body metabolize nutrients. A deficiency can contribute to hair thinning, although deficiency is uncommon.
A personalized option for hair visits
Biotin can be added to your hair PRP treatment plan when appropriate. Integrity offers a PRP kit with biotin; your provider confirms the formulation, method of use and suitability before treatment.
Biotin’s role in normal nutrition does not establish that adding it to scalp PRP improves regrowth. Clinical evidence for additional benefit over PRP alone is limited, so it is optional and results are not guaranteed.
Tell your provider about supplements and upcoming blood tests, as biotin can interfere with certain laboratory results.

What to expect
We assess your thinning pattern, scalp health and medical history before recommending treatment. A small blood sample is processed using Integrity PRP tubes, and the prepared plasma is injected into selected scalp areas. We discuss comfort measures, any biotin addition and aftercare in advance. Temporary scalp tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur; infection is also a risk.
Treatment is subject to individual suitability. Your provider will review benefits, limitations, alternatives and aftercare. Results vary.
A little more
clarity.
Who is a good candidate?
PRP is most often considered for pattern hair thinning where follicles remain active. Sudden shedding, patchy loss, scalp inflammation or longstanding bald areas may need a different assessment or treatment.
Can biotin be added?
Yes. Biotin is available as an optional addition when your medical provider considers it appropriate. The formulation, method of use and additional cost are confirmed before treatment. Extra benefit over PRP alone is not established.
What determines my treatment plan?
The cause and duration of hair loss, degree of thinning, scalp health, medical factors, other treatments and your response all matter. We use follow-up photographs to assess progress and adjust your plan.
